Panthers B-Ball Recap

So Jamie Dixon pretty much owns the entirety of the month of November. The man has not lost a November basketball game in, to quote Michael "Squints" Palledorous, FOOORRR-EV-ERRRR, thus, Boston University doesn't really have me searching for dry underwear. However, In case you missed it...

First Half :

First half starts terribly, absolutely no points for entirely too long.
Before long, Sam Young beasts all over everyone's face, nothing new here.

Ronald Ramond pretty much hits 3s at will.

DeJuan Blair has a solid performance inside--a block here, a basket there, nothing too intense, just solid. He splits his foul shots, but still has a better percentage than Shaq and Aaron Gray combined.

Jeff Reed sits courtside; as always, there was some kind of stupid shit on his head (this time it was a hat, not just his hair)

Boston University is completely incapable of maintaining possession of the basketball. They have more turnovers than a KFC dumpster, and Pitt converts most of them into offence.

Benjamin, oop, 21-5. Grab the KY, it's going to be a long night.

9-0 run here, 11-0 run there, 25 point lead. Cruize control is engaged with about 10:00 left in the half.

Lavance Fields' ball-handling is like influenza (fucking sick).

A few theatrics to add insult to injury.

Buzzer. 42-19.

Second Half:

Relatively the same as the first half.

More of Sam Young being a manimal, he ends with 14 on the night.

Ramon reminds everyone in attendance why it is a good idea to bring an umbrella to the Pete, he ends with 15 points (5 for 5 3-pt. shooting)

Boston manages to score a few more points this half, but not many.

Second half score makes the game seem a lot more competitive it really was: 38-34

Game, Pitt. 80-53.

On a personal note, this has been the best Pitt victory this season in my eyes, and for the following reason: New England fans are worse than being raped by Satan himself. Listening to northeastern pontification about the Sox, Pats, and now, the Celtics, makes me envy Helen Keller.
